Director Becky played soccer from fifth grade through college. She played on select and indoor teams and was named Captain of her high school team. She has 6 years’ experience as a daycare teacher, is a Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Nutritionist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
Becky was a Physical Education Teacher for five different preschools in the Cincinnati area, teaching children age 2 to school age and also ran a Yoga Club for an After-School Program. "I joined HappyFeet because I have a passion for teaching children to be healthy. HappyFeet is such a wonderful program to promote gross motor activity. I love seeing the children overcome themselves by using their imagination. HappyFeet is a such a super positive program all around."
Jason Kuykendall, League Coach
Coach Jason has been interested in athletics and fitness since he was 5 years old, beginning with soccer and going on for many years with track, cross country, wrestling, and baseball. Today he is focused on long distance cycling, running, weight training, and backpacking. For over 12 years Jason volunteered at his church as a teacher and service coordinator for 3-5 year olds. He believes that adequate physical activity on a regular basis helps children learn best, while also building self-esteem and problem solving skills. "I joined HappyFeet because I love soccer and have played since I was 5 years old. It was the first sport I loved that I carried into my adult years. I want to help children have the same opportunity in the sport that I had."
Meghan Schymanski, League Coach
Coach Meghan wasintroduced to soccer in elementary schoolwhere her father ran camps and youth programs for her hometown. During her senior year of high school she was presented with the opportunity to play at a collegiate level. After college she continued to enjoy the game playing on indoor soccer teams in the Cincinnati area for about 10 years. Meghan received a degree in early childhood education and has been in the education field in a variety of roles since 2006 with most of her experience in childcare working with infants to school age.“I joined HappyFeet as I have always loved the game of soccer. I am looking forward to igniting that excitement in the children that join such a wonderful program!”
David Yeakle, League Coach
Coach David has been a multi sport athlete since he was 5 years old, starting with soccer and baseball then golf, hockey and lacrosse. David stuck with hockey at age 14 and played high school, travel and in college. David has spent 7 years as a camp counselor and senior supervisor for Miami University hockey school. David also runs his own private hockey lessons for children and adults of all skill levels. “I joined HappyFeet because I love soccer. I’ve always had a passion for teaching children this wonderful game and look forward to seeing the passion of the game of soccer grow in their eyes.”
Rachelle Ciriaco, League Coach
Coach Rachelle grew up playing and watching her dad play indoor soccer at Western Hill’s Sports Mall. She started playing when she was 7 years old and played all the way through high school. After college she decided to play recreationally. She currently plays indoor soccer 3 times a week at Wall2Wall and CSL. Rachelle also enjoys playing sand volleyball throughout the summer. “I joined HappyFeet because soccer is my favorite sport I and enjoy seeing kids get excited about playing. I am looking forward to hopefully getting them to love it as much as I do!”
